We've held charity gigs, hosted a march through the city centre attended by politicians, hosted a community awareness and involvement day, been invited to talks and raised hundreds of pounds for Ben's Centre. We've even been congratulated on our work by Ed Miliband himself and spoken on BBC Radio Sheffield! We work tirelessly throughout term-time alongside studying for our degrees. We rely completely on volunteers and people power to target the food waste that the University produces. We strive to raise awareness of the issue of food waste that the University produces, raise awareness of the issues of food poverty in Sheffield and to support services that provide for vulnerable people in Sheffield. Our volunteers are active in many sustainability and people-focused causes throughout the University and the wider city, and we're lucky to be a team of such open-minded and passionate people. We welcome all who want to get involved.
