Christmas Presents for Ben's Centre

Over the last few weeks of term, we raised money through bake sales, tote bag sales and clothes sales to raise money to buy Christmas presents for Ben's Centre.

We bought games and puzzles for the clients to use and bought some new cleaning equipment for Ben's Centre. We brought the presents to the Ben's Centre Christmas meal on the 13th December!

There are lots of shoebox and other collection schemes that run across the city during Christmas time, but we decided we wanted to buy some luxuries, rather than necessities. We wanted to give something that could be used communally, socially and for fun! By giving the presents to Ben's, they can be used by any clients, staff members or volunteers.

This was our first year buying presents for Ben's and hopefully this will become a yearly tradition :-)
